great for rats!,
Easy to use & clean, this is also a big hit with my 3 rats at playtime. They figured it out almost immediately and love running around stashing the treats they pull out of it. It’s also very cute watching them use their paws & noses to open the little door.
The only negative in my opinion are the square corners. Since it’s easy for rats to dislodge this from the cage bars, I put it low to the ground. But when they’re climbing around their playpen, they sometimes come crashing down and I worry they’ll hurt themselves if they land on it. I watch them very carefully when they’re using it & take it out as soon as it’s empty. Would love to see a new design with more rounded shape though.
